Artistic Director of Gecko, Amit Lahav, is concise and doesn’t beat around the bush; it feels only polite for Run Riot to reciprocate. Here goes – straight to the point.

Thespians know David Rosenberg as a founding artist of Shunt and a theatre director who indulges in experimentation; Run Riot regulars will also be familiar with his untraditional approach to interviews, which are always blissfully blurb free and intrigue heavy.

A little over 3 years ago Nick Giles left Donmar Warehouse to become Director of Shoreditch Town Hall. His pitch to the venue’s board was simple and ambitious - inject the architectural gem with an artistic programme to match: “Saving the building was not enough – we needed to give it a life, and audiences and our local community compelling reasons to come through our doors.”
