The Book Club’s third annual Bookstock street party goes nautical

 The Book Club presents Bookstock-On-Sea – a celebration of the great British summer and all the fun of the seaside, with a fun-filled Shoreditch twist. Bookstock-On-Sea is a beside-the-seaside street festival event, with a summery soundtrack provided by the likes of the legendary disco band Odyssey playing live, hip hop duo Nextmen, Prince tribute Princeless, piano man Davos T, and Disco Bloodbath boy Ben Pistor and Bad Zuke, all spread across three arenas – The Promenade, Sailors Rum Bar and Under the Pier in the basement, which will be transformed into a den of over 30 lights and lazers by the To The Lazer Caves cosmic crusaders.

And it wouldn’t be Bookstock without a whole lot of fun for good measure. Expect all the best bits of your favourite seaside towns, including a Slow Motion ‘Baywatch’ Running competition and a Knobbly Knees Contest, a Punch & Judy show, donkey rides, musical seaside bingo, a feast of fish & chips, special edition Bookstock-On-Sea sticks of rock, gourmet ice cream and scrummy sea salt cocktails. It’s a holiday and a festival all rolled into one!
