4th Estate salon bring together great minds and great conversation for a night of live literary debate.
Come and be challenged, inspired and entertained at The Book Club where they will be discussing that elusive ‘first novel’ publishing deal with a panel of fantastic authors; from how to keep motivated despite endless rejection letters to the value of creative writing courses, to tips on how to break into the modern literary landscape. The panel will include David Baddiel, stadium-filling comedian and critically acclaimed, bestselling author; Nathan Filer, author of this year’s smash debut The Shock of the Fall; and the globally bestselling, Costa Award winning (formerly known at the Whitbread Award) writer Tash Aw. Chaired by Sunday Times assistant literary editor Robert Collins.
Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start. The discussion will be followed by a q&a plus a chance to meet and mingle with the speakers afterwards.
