Any of you who read my ramblings elsewhere will know that I have a small obsession with mermaids. They've had a fair bit of press lately, what with Lady Gaga and Katy Perry both dressing up as mermaids, and most recently US government officials releasing a statement declaring that they definitely don't exist ( and I had such hopes for Obama..).
Love146 is an international charity that was created to work towards the end of global child sex slavery and trafficking. With approximately 1.2 million children being sold into slavery every year (that¹s 2 children every minutes according to UNICEF estimates), this illegal industry is thought to be worth £7.5 billion pounds annually.
