In 1987 my Dad took me and my Mum to Spain. I was 18 months old and only memory I have of the holiday is sipping cola and dancing to the Hokey Cokey surrounded by other council kids giving it the ‘left leg in’!
Over the past few week I have been presenting the final series of Hamburger Queen - my beauty pageant / talent show for fat people.
For four gloriously chubby years I’ve been running this project that has seen a magic trick involving razors go horribly wrong, a human pass the parcel, Cher lookalikes and someone put a shoe where the sun doesn’t shine! It would be fair to say its a pretty brilliant night out.
With the last ever finale this Thursday I caught up with finalists to see what they are planning...

This year sees the dynamic duo hit the big time with 'Social Work'. After a sell out London run at Soho Theatre and critical acclaim, Edinburgh was a change to see if they 'worked' outside the M25.
I'm on another horrid Virgin train journey - Sarah Jane at Euston reception was as unhelpful as she could be, but I managed to find a train towards the north, surrounded by drunk Scot's & actors on mobiles - It can only be the Edinburgh Fringe! Last year I kept you in the know about my festival activities and this year is no different.
This year I'm performing with the wonderful Pustra / Vile-een in 'And the Devil may drag you under' - I'm excited, nervous, scared but most of all glad to get out of the big smoke for a few weeks!

Day 1 - I DONT DO TRAINS!
First stop, Manchester! After a horrid 10am start, a bad sandwich from Upper Crust and a journey from hell sitting next to Super Nanny and her newest recruits - I arrived. I'm currently making a new film with Daniel Liddington and I'm here for the test shoot before I run up to the fringe.
