Sheena McKenzie

Contributor

Personal Brief

Sheena McKenzie is a freelance journalist who cut her teeth on east London newspapers before Running Riot in 2011.

After learning the tricks of the trade at The East London Advertiser and Hackney Gazette in 2007, Sheena ventured further east to The Romford Recorder in 2008 where she took on the mantle of news editor.

More than two years later, with all the joys of local news under her belt, Sheena decided to go on a bloody long holiday and return to London to strike out as a freelance.

She can since be found shifting at The Sunday Times, occasionally dipping her toe in the local newspaper pool and pursuing her original love - entertainment reporting - at Run Riot.
