Winter Lights is the largest, free light festival in London, transforming Canary Wharf with over 20 stunning spectacular installations, leaving the dark winter evenings aglow.
The spectacle showcases light art and interactive installations by some of the most innovative artists across the globe working in light art today.
There’ll be some favourite installations returning from previous years alongside some pieces never before seen in the UK and even some newly commissioned artworks. The exhibition features both pieces which can be admired from afar as well as those which will allow people to get up close and interact with them.
Whilst the final line-up will not be announced until later in the year, you can expect to find stunning projection work, a boulder made from discarded circuit boards and even two giant mammoths. The full line-up of artists and artworks will be announced in November so please check back for further information. A map will also be available to download from January to help guide you round the works.
