Curated by the folks at Secret Garden Party and MAMA Festivals, Wilderness brings the very best music, food, learning, literature and rejuvenation to the lakes, forests and parkland of Cornbury. Wild!

This August, amongst the meadows, lakes and canopies of the ancient Wychwood Forest, discover the warmth, heart and soul of the Wilderness festival.

Curated by the people behind the award-winning  Secret Garden Party, Meltdown and Mama festivals, comes Wilderness - a celebration of arts in the most spectacular of settings. It’s a place of freedom, inspiration and rejuvenation. It is a festival of pioneering performances, fireside banquets and theatrical spectaculars - a summer weekend that opens the mind and revitalises the soul.

Fastidiously programmed, Wilderness offers the finest names in musicianship, including Antony and the Johnsons, Laura Marling, Daniel Johnston, The Low Anthem, Dry The River, Guillemots, Toots & The Maytals, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Hayseed Dixie and the Balkan brilliance of Gogol Bordello; culinary feasts prepared by Skye Gyngall and Sam & Sam Clark; speakers, debates & literary arts from Intelligence Squared and Tom Hodgkinson’s Idler Academy; and promenade theatre by The The Old Vic Tunnels and Tax Deductible.

But it's the exceptional landscape of Cornbury Park and the surrounding Wychwood forest that are the real headline attraction. Guided expeditions through ancient woodland; a ribbon of ornamental lakes provide a secluded sanctuary for all types of restorative pleasures; from meditation and massage to hot tubs and saunas to swimming, boating and even fly-fishing.

And whilst the lakes provide the perfect backdrop to while away the daytime, so open fires and candle lit trees provide a perfect accompaniment to an evening of outdoor dining and live music (and a few fine ales). This summer, come explore a different Wilderness with us.
