An evening of music and performance, taking on the theme of identity and resistance, with an emphasis on Soho’s past and present.

Hear award-winning author and poet Joelle Taylor fresh from her world tour perform work including CUNTO, Ghosts of Soho and pieces from her acclaimed collection Songs My Enemy Taught Me.

Experience exceptional drag acts including Madame Jo Jo’s performer Minnie Diamond CBE, Drag King promoter and performer Adam All, and award winning Drag King LoUIs CYfer.

The evening will feature music recorded at Soho’s legendary and experimental Trident Studios where musicians including David Bowie, The Beatles, Joan Armatrading and Lou Reed produced seminal tracks on albums including Hunky Dory, The White Album and Transformer with the help of a distinctive sounding Bechstein grand piano. Tracks will be played from vinyl and quarter-inch tape on a 1970s iconic hi-fi system. Shot In Soho curator, Julian Rodriguez, will DJ and also include other music related to Soho, identity and resistance.

Take time to see The Photographers' Gallery's 'Shot in Soho' and 'Feast for the Eyes' exhibitions which will be open throughout the evening.
