Single? Come join the RSPLB's club as they celebrate spring with a humorous, ornithologically aroused singles walk across Hampstead Heath, giving one the chance to meet a mate in a rather novel way.

The Royal Society for the Pursuit of Love Birds (RSPLB), Nature’s favourite amateur bird watching club and unusual dating agency!

They are here to help you spot a mate for life (or the night) using their extensive study of birds and their romantic behaviours. With binoculars in one hand and a field guide in the other the RSPLB will lead you through the thrilling, yet often confusing, landscape of early Love. Helping you to identify just exactly what type of birds delight you (with often surprising self-revelations). They will then embark with you on a madcap dating adventure, a spectacle of romance and an impressive array of courtship displays. So why not join the RSPLB's Club in this seasonal pursuit with a rejuvenating romp through the bushes, instructed bird spotting, conversational highlights on the mating habits of birds and some very silly nature activities.

The walk will last approx 2 hours, culminating with refreshments in one of Hampstead's famous public houses. But do dress sensibly and of course feel free to bring dogs, thermoses and binoculars, if you so wish.

'Springwatch' is weather permitting. If there is just a touch of British drizzle then please don your wellies and waterproofs. However, if the weather is atrocious the RSPLB will let you know that the walk has been postponed and refund you the full ticket price.

Note: The RSPLB celebrates love of all kinds; however this  walk is for the heterosexual variety. More walk varieties to follow soon.
