Experience a full throttle sensory bombardment assault , where Victoriana meets Faerytale at The Make Believe Festival, an adventurous and new immersive May Bank Holiday weekend event, hosted in the heart of London.

Make Believe promises to reawaken the imaginative and playful side of festival experiences. With an emphasis on transporting audiences to strange altered histories, andenchanted realms of new discovery, the weekend is packed with an exciting line up of live music, breath-taking performances & wondrous artwork.

Friday 3rd May- The Clockwork Underworld

The Clockwork Underworld sheds light on the seedy underbelly of the Victorian era, at a time when peace is on a knife's edge as society struggles to cope with an ever increasing number of sentient Clockwork automata, the mechanical slaves that keep society ticking along. Part of a five year transmedia story told through graphic novels, immersive theatre, and a feature film. This will be its second year in London, having showcased at the Latitude Festival & Leyshon Brother Bonded Warehouse.

Saturday 4th May- The Goblin King's Masquerade Ball

For one night you are invited to a grim fairytale world for Goblin King’s annual night of mischief and revelry. This evening see's the World Turn'd Upside Down; Where Fools become Princes for one night. Where Goblins, Nymphs, Ogres, Bad Faeries and other Creatures of the Night, beyond the realm of human vision, are free to make merry. Dearest revellers cast aside your thoughts of the next day & abandon yourselves to the intoxicating decadence and mysterious streets of The Goblin King's Annual Masquerade Ball. Told through promenade theatre, music, interactive creatures, puppetry & art installations.

Sunday 5th May- Make Believe Market

One of the first events to combine Goblin and Steampunk Universes. For all ages! Artisans and craft makers trade their unusual wares, whilst performance and live music entertain and keep even the grumpiest little monsters happy! Curiosity will be rewarded!
