The second ever London Hoop Fest- and if last year's was anything to go by, it's going to be a stonker!

NEW TO LONDON HOOP FEST : Daily lunchtime sessions, free sessions and KIDS sessions – including hoop play, games, hoop decorating and a Kids Hula Disco!

Included in the line-up of London based teachers are Craig the Incredible Hula Boy and Silvia Pavone from the world renowned Circus Space, super hoop boy Nick Broyd, and London’s cult hula hooping artiste Anna The Hulagan, who will all be spinning their hoops for you to learn along with.

Some of the classes available at London Hoop Fest 2013:

BEGINNERS – A class that is wholly dedicated to those of you who have either never hooped before, or who have tried in vain; this is a class that aims to have you hooping and having fun by the end !

HULAFIT – An intensive exercise hula hoop class, focusing on toning & strengthening with a cardio-kick!

HOOP YOGA – Stretch & flex, incorporating the hoop into a yoga work-out.

FIRE HOOP – Get hot, hoopy & fearless and learn how to spin a hoop – whilst it’s on fire!

HOOP FLICK - Movie time … with space for you to hoop while you watch…or just sit & enjoy like a normal person!

CIRCUS HOOPLA – Learn the skills that pay the bills from professional hoop performers.

HOOP DANCE – Like dancing? Learn how to make your hoop an extension of your body and bring a whole new dimension to how you dance.

London is home to the biggest hooping network in the UK so it seemed only natural for Anna the Hulagan, hoop teacher, international burlesque hoop performer and ‘London’s cult hula hooping artiste’, and partner, Rowan Bad-timing-Boy Byrne to get the hoop rolling and present the second ever London Hoop Fest after last year’s massive success!

Hooping has become cool – too cool for school in fact! As we’ve got bigger so have our hoops…and trust us, if you think hooping is just about swinging a plastic circle around your hips (or at least trying to), then you are in for a surprise of revolutionizing proportions! You may be looking for an innovative, fun way to get fit, or get social in a circle… whether you’ve been shyly edging towards picking one up or pounced on any hoop in hip-shot… then come and see what London Hoop Fest is all about and see how easy it is to get hooked on the hula like we did!

The venue for London Hoop Fest 2013 will be at The Mile End Art Pavilion, a beautiful 5,000sqft building housed inside a landscaped hill, with a long wall of windows overlooking idyllic green spaces, tiered ponds and London’s famous Regent’s Canal! Stepney Green and Mile End Underground stations are both close and parking is available.
