From pain to joy, wisdom and humour, join Letters Live and an array of world class performers, reading remarkable letters written over the centuries and from around the world.

Letters Live is an unmissable celebration of the power of literary correspondence. Each show stars a different surprise array of world class performers, actors, comedians, musicians, and authors, reading remarkable letters written over the centuries and from around the world – and you never know who will take to the stage or which letter they will bring to life. The result is a glorious event like no other and a journey through time that is, by turns, heart-breaking, hilarious and powerful.

Letters Live has, from the outset, been committed to promoting literacy and to fundraising for worthwhile causes and charities. This remains an important part of its activities both in the UK and abroad – these two forthcoming events on 27-28 October are in support of Choose Love.

Letters Live has brought to the stage letters written by people as varied as David Bowie, Mohandas Gandhi, Elvis Presley, Charlotte Bronte and Che Guevara, and has seen the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman, Ian McKellen, Kylie Minogue, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Russell Brand, Caitlin Moran, Gillian Anderson, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Tom Hiddleston, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Stephen Fry and Jude Law deliver unique, extraordinary performances.
