A night of music and dancing, with Tobago and D’Lime live. Yes, the beautifully charming calypso and carnival band from the Paddington films. What's not to adore amore!

A warm and welcoming evening is in store as we celebrate the sounds of calypso, carnival and more. Performing live on the night will be Tobago and D’Lime, the band who appear in the Paddington films (onstage 20.30).

Guest DJs on the night are Gaz Mayall (Gaz’s Rockin Blues, The Trojans) and Linett Kamala (Disya Jeneration).

Tickets include access to the exhibition Paddington: the Story of a Bear on the night, subject to capacity. Last entry to the exhibition at 22.00.

Please note, this is a standing event. It is not aimed at children although those aged 8 years and above may attend.

Earlier the same evening you may attend their linked conversation event A Home for Home: Notting Hill since the 1950s. You may purchase tickets to include entry to both events or for each event separately.

"London is the Place for Me" is a 1948 calypso song by Aldwyn Roberts. Roberts, under his calypso stage name Lord Kitchener, sang the first two stanzas of "London is the Place for Me" on camera for reporters upon arrival at Tilbury Docks after a long sea voyage and was recorded by Pathé News cameras.
