The purveyors of progressive working class entertainment are back, calling upon inspirational ancestors and artists to create and produce an unforgettable night of music, dancing and performance.

Duckie Family return exploring the roots of Queer People of Colour and the legacy they have left and continue to leave, behind.

To begin, at 8pm, there will be an exclusive screening of a film created especially for Legacy by Duckie Family co-curator Campbell X.  Also there’s a chance to experiment with tribal face painting and head wrapping, creating opportunities to be documented via photographs and writing for future generations to enjoy.

Performances come courtesy of the fiery post-burlesque artist Demi Noire, renowned for her work with the Cocoa Butter Club, uncompromising performance artist Lasana Shabazz, Jacob V Joyce, with a signature blend of punk-infused verse, voguer supreme Kyle-London, drag delight from FKA, live art from Vijay Patel & as if this was not enough, the ultimate in hula hoop spectacle from Symoné.

Dancehall, RnB, Grime, Afrobeats and old skool favourites create the quintessential Duckie Family soundtrack via DJs Kartel Brown, Pandemic and BBZ.

Duckie Family Legacy is co-hosted by cabaret queens Mzz Kimberley and Sadie Sinner, alongside hype-man: Mr Black Branson and the events are curated and produced by Kayza Rose & Campbell X with Duckie.
