An evening of mystery & nightmares inspired by the films of David Lynch; a darkly surreal cocktail of “Damn fine” Cabaret, Comedy & Live Music
Welcome to the Double R Club,brought to you from a place "both wonderful and strange..."
Expect an absurdist and darkly surreal cocktail of "Damn fine" Lynchian Cabaret, bolstered by twisted rock ‘n’ roll, slow sinister jazz and wailing junk-blues.
Influenced by the world of maverick film director David Lynch, the Double R brings you an unparalleled evening of sex, smoke and strobe,
from the finger-clicking jazz ambience of cult TV show Twin Peaks,
to the bizarre monochrome machine world of Eraserhead;
from the dark underbelly of Mulholland Drive,
to the surreal small town madness of Blue Velvet.
The Double R re-imagines these worlds and takes them further, to glamorously seedy nights both magical and debauched, frightening and perplexing, but always entertaining…
