A series of events focusing on pioneers who use technology to innovate: to break the usual beat rather than getting stuck in a loop. Back in London for 10 days in March.

Artists involved with Convergence in 2014 included performances by Jacques Greene, Digitalism, Koreless, Booka Shade, Fuck Buttons,Mount Kimbie, Fennesz, Ben Frost, BeatauCue, and 65 Days of Static, plus a series of talks at both the Barbican and Village Underground.

In 2015, Convergence returns featuring an array of innovative and inspiring musicians, artists, educators and technologists to continue the conversation. Events will take place across East London, at venues including Village Underground and St John-at-Hackney Church. 

 

First confirmed artists include Pantha du Prince, Kiasmos, Gary Numan, Tricky, George Clinton, Matthew Herbert, Portico,Clark, Darkstar, Vessels + more to be announced. The events will bring together promoters and technologists including Bleep, Noise of Art, FutureFest and Guardian Live.
