London composers' collective Bastard Assignments GO DEEP in a new collaboration with choreographer-performer duo Thick & Tight, plus new music & performance from Lady Vendredi, Eleanor Perry & more.

Inspired by a 1989 BBC TV production of Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party, comes this very special collaboration between composer-performers Bastard Assignments (Timothy Cape, Edward Henderson, Caitlin Rowley and Josh Spear) and choreographer-performer duo Thick & Tight (Danny Hay-Gordon and Eleanor Perry). Eleanor (Thick and Tight) will also presents a new work with designer-performer Tim Spooner and Josh (Bastard Assignments) presents a piece for the group concerning distopian entertainment with old CRT TVs against a wall of vocal sounds.

Alongside these exciting collaborations, expect new music from neo-shamanic art-pop auteur, Lady Vendredi aka Nwadno Ebizie - "an artist who will always keep fans and critics wondering what her next move will be, but like previous icons such as Grace Jones or even a Madonna, this is a part of the brilliance that comes with any perceived weirdness." - Colorising. Lady Vendredi will be performing tracks from her new album 'Neon Dream', an album that passes a new threshold in Lady Vendredi’s exploration of Afrodiasporic ritual, from the purer rhythmic references of first EP ‘The Passion’ towards a bolder, more technoscientific intervention on those rhythms: namely, cross-rhythm as an Afrofuturist project.
