i do some things, i can seperate them nicely. i dj at all kinds of hot little houses. these include motherfucker. unit 22. the dress up box. blah blah blah. chopped banana. and our own charming evening, 'the slaughter house'. we are called Ladiez Di(e. i try and approach this aspect of my life with a great sense of maturity and commitment. Unfortunately, i usually end up wearing a childrens hat and ugly leggins, writing on myself in felt tip, and then getting confused when nobody else wants to dance to SO SOLID, and BILLIE PIPER. but they still ask us back..... I am a writer. This takes place in an assortment of venues. Right now i'm trecking around kentish town writing full time for DIVA , interviewing the likes of beth ditto and spending way too long penning the 'hot or not' sections. I can't use kim wilde references anymore...the obsession is almost unhealthy. I write for other things too, this is one. oh and i perform graphically sexual poetry to uk garage beats whenever people allow me.I used to be the lead singer of a riot grrl band called 'mary luxembourg and the black bats' we had fun, but then realised we were quite shit. Oh well. I miss my art projects. we made waves in seasisde towns with shock-status-live-art. I wore a strap-on harness containg a whisk one time whilst a crowd of people prodded me whilst i remained still, that was a bit tricky.
