Personal Brief
I'm James, or Spencer, depending on who you are. I'm an actor and performer. I like creating things that have never before occured in such a way. Spontaneity completes me.
Artists on your radar, shout them out!
- Pretty much anyting that goes up at The Son Gallery in Peckham but particularly Guy Gormley, Alex Shepherd and Tim Smyth work - have a butchers.
- There is some really cool illustrative work coming out of collectives such as Panther Club and
Technicolour Moon as well, the kind of stuff that dreams shouldn't be made of ;)
- Perhaps one of my favourite artists has to be Juan Munoz - his work rocks it with its coxis!
Which is your number one location – and what’s it best for?
Battersea Arts Centre - for expanding one's mind.
Brick Lane - for destroying one's liver.
Belgo's - for one's beer and mussels.

Fink and Toot and the Maytals almost exclusively because once i'm hooked it takes me a while to ween.
What is your idea of a jolly good time?
My sweetheart first and foremost,
My friends and no doubt folly,
Beer, beats and breaks,
Whisky, wine, and cake,
And a Mad Hatter to keep me jolly.
What happened the last time you were a complete disgrace?
I'm sure I don't know what you mean!
In this city, where is your most romantic spot?
My bedroom - it's just romance romance romance, just ask the girlfriend.
