Personal Brief
Helen Marshall is an artist based in Britain. Her work is rooted in photography and she has a track record in making works in participation with others.
She is recently back in London following a trip to China which culminated in an exhibition made in collaboration with Artist Lu Fei Fei, co-curated by the Gao Brothers in the 798 Factory Art District, Gao Brothers Art Center, Beijing.
She is currently working on projects with the University of East London Research Institute, The Photographers’ Gallery and Westminster Arts. She is also in receipt of a year long studio place at Chisenhale Arts Place, East London.GO TO

Which is your number one location – and what’s it best for?
Silver Pagoda Mountain, outside Beijing, China. For dissolving into the heat after a climb as if in some picnic at hanging rock except it's very zen, not so aboriginal...but I guess it's really about source. Maybe there is a centre just about everywhere.
