This year, the Festival focuses on 'engineering' and 'science and London'.

London Science Festival was founded with the mission to engage the public in all things scientific, from natural science to science in its most cultural and interdisciplinary contexts.

Collaborating with leading scientists, artists, museums, universities and independent organisations, to open science up to those who fund it, to encourage audiences of all ages to pursue careers in science and engineering - and to allow individuals’ access to research which they can use to make informed decisions about their lives.

Here you'll find an eclectic mix of events featuring some of London's hidden treasures, including the little-known Brunel Museum which hosts the launch event, and established world-leading institutions.
