Join the B Corp Community and friends for an honest discussion about the challenges of tackling transparency in the fashion industry.

At this event, you will be learning about and focusing on the supply chain of fashion, looking at the people fighting child labour, discussing what the introduction of the Modern Slavery Act means for the UK, plus, hearing from certified B Corps and friends about the opportunities and challenges they face with their supply chain.

A trailer of the latest film will be shown from certified B Corp Participant Media, Kailash. Winning the US Grand Jury prize at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, Kailash tells the gripping story of Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi and his dedicated team as they carry out daring factory raids to rescue Indian children from labor, exploitation and trafficking.

Also in attendance will be certified B Corps & friends working in the fashion industry on a panel discussion, tackling questions around why it is hard to understand the provenance of your clothes, the progress being made and the opportunities for innovation. The panel include:

Laura Tenison - founder of B Corp JoJo Maman Bebe
Patrick Grant - founder of Community Clothing, Director of E Tautz, Hammond & Co and Norton & Sons.
Georgina Powell Wilson - founder and editor of Pebble Magazine
Tom Kay - founder of Finisterre

There will also be an opportunity to ask the panel questions - so please submit when you get your ticket. There will also be some great B Corp booze and the opportunity to meet people interested in using business as a force for good.
