Join British artist, film-maker and writer John Akomfrah and a panel of speakers for a talk on the architecture of memory, migration and multiculturalism.
John Akomfrah is a renowned artist and filmmaker, whose works are characterised by their investigations into memory, post-colonialism, temporality and aesthetics and often explores the experiences of migrant diasporas globally.
To coincide with the exhibition David Adjaye: Making Memory, John Akomfrah joins a panel of thinkers and practitioners for a discussion on the architecture of memory, migration and multiculturalism.
John Akomfrah (born 1957) lives and works in London. A hugely respected artist and filmmaker, his works are characterised by their investigations into memory, post-colonialism, temporality and aesthetics and often explores the experiences of migrant diasporas globally. Akomfrah was a founding member of the influential Black Audio Film Collective.
