Intelligence Squared is proud to partner with The Guardian for an evening in which celebrated writers will read the work of their Ukrainian peers in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

All profits will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine humanitarian appeal.

Speakers include:

Karl Ove Knausgaard, Norwegian author, whose works include the six volume series of autobiographical novels, My Struggle.

Henry Marsh, neurosurgeon and author of the highly acclaimed memoir Do No Harm. He has worked with doctors in Ukraine since 1992.

Ian McEwan, novelist, whose works include Atonement, Enduring Love and The Child In Time. He won the 1998 Booker prize with Amsterdam.

Alice Oswald, TS Eliot prize-winning author of eleven collections of poetry, including Dart and Falling Awake.
