Shelter partners with Book Slam to bring you an intimate evening of live readings in the surroundings of the beautiful Priory Church of the Order of St John, Clerkenwell.

Performances on the night include cult author John Niven (Kill Your Friends), The Maccabees’ front man Orlando Weeks, who will exclusively read from his debut picture book ‘The Gritterman’, Pussy Riot’s Maria Alyokhina, who will read from ‘Riot Days’ her account of her arrest, trial and imprisonment, author David Nicholls (One Day, Starter for Ten), performance poet, author and singer Laura Dockrill and comedian Rob Carter.
