ALL EARS, organisers of inspiring true story events, begins its 2012 programme with a special theme on London.

Three fascinating speakers - including a homeless person, a Tower of London Beefeater and Rob Symington from Escape the City, a company who help people escape the rat race and transition to exciting new jobs - will share their stories.

Vijya Jagun will share his story of what it is like to be homeless on London's streets and his ongoing battle with the Home Office to gain residency in the country he has lived in for the past 10 years. His experiences have led him to speak at the University of Connecticut on Migrants and their vulnerability. He also attended the All Party Parliamentary Group where he shared his view on migrants in the health sector.

Escape the City was set up by Rob Symington and Dom Jackman to help talented individuals escape from unfulfilling jobs in the City. In these socially, economically and environmentally turbulent times, people's attitudes to work are drastically changing. Escape the City has harnessed that shift in social trend and set up with this wonderful organisation. Their motto is 'do something different' and that is just what they are doing.

Bill Callaghan is proud to be a Yeoman Warder – a Beefeater to most of us – at the Tower of London. He guards the Crown Jewels for Her Majesty and has clocked up over 2 million hits on YouTube for his entertaining and knowledgeable tours around London’s famous landmark. Following many years serving in the army, Bill was invited to join the warders and live at the Tower. At ALL EARS, Bill will debunk many of the Tower myths and share his favourite historical London moments.
