A new storytelling performance from Polarbear about how the decisions we’re scared to make can come back to haunt us.

I’m messy.

Always have been.

Scattered ideas.

Scribbled thoughts.

My ideas aren’t neat.

My ideas laugh and argue.

They shout and fight.

At school this held me back.

Now it’s how I get to fly.

What happens when you take a risk? How wrong can it go? A new storytelling performance from Polarbear about how the decisions we’re scared to make can come back to haunt us. And maybe even hunt us. On the back of his international hit Mouth Open Story Jump Out, Dark Corners follows a 13 year-old Polarbear over 24 fateful hours when he takes a risk that leads to a showdown with his future selves. Set on a pristine set of white paper, the audience help to shape the fate of our young hero as things start to get messy, especially when he learns to follow his heart - often the messiest story of all.

Polarbear, AKA Steven Camden, is one of the UK’s most respected spoken word artists and is acclaimed young adult author of Tape and It's About Love.
