David Farr joins forces with multimedia company Filter and Andi Watson (Radiohead) to create this visually extraordinary, theatrical experience of personal stories against the backdrop of climate chan

Filter is renowned for its distinctive theatrical style that exposes the workings of a production. Video imagery is mixed onstage whilst the sound is produced live by the performers and a musician using microphones, instruments, synthesisers and live SKYPE to create a unique, ‘live chemistry’ experience for audiences. In Water they work with David Farr to find an original and personal way to explore one of the most important themes of our time – global warming – and to explore man’s desire to push himself to the limits of what is humanly possible.

Tim Phillips is a singer, songwriter, composer and producer whose band Cathead released their debut record in July 2006. They have performed at the legendary Isle of Wight Fesitval and supported The Undertones, The Feeling and Andy Yorke. Tim also writes music for screen productions such as Company Pictures’ Talk to Me and is house composer for Channel 4’s smash hit Shameless.

Andi Watson has worked as Creative Director and Lighting Director for various bands since 1990. He currently works with Radiohead, Oasis and Dido as well as other national and international artists.

David Farr is a writer and director. He took up the post of Artistic Director at the Lyric Hammersmith in June 2005. His production of Metamorphosis, a collaboration with Gìsli Örn Gardarsson, Artistic Director of Iceland’s Vesturport was a hit in 2006. For the Lyric he has also adapted and directed The Magic Carpet, Ramayana and The Odyssey. Other productions include Tamburlaine at the Barbican main stage and The UN Inspector at The National Theatre in 2005.
