Countdown to Christmas Crafternoon with the East London Craft Guerrilla
A one stop event that will get you making gifts, loving the environment and even sorting out that holiday frock.

The countdown to the Christmas craftavaganza is on it's way! Guest DJ's spin the tunes while the craft guerilla gals get the yarn spinning in a whole host of seasonal craft packs ready for you to make or gift to a special craft loving friend. Mrs.Bears will be on hand with her trusted needle and thread helping you jazz up your swaps. Her cloths swap events are a great chance to get rid of your unwanted* clothing and swishing them for some "new" apparel. The Craftivist collective will also be with us offering you the chance to do something for the good of humanity in their "Climate for Change" mini workshop, where they'll be making clocks out of second hand books on the theme of the end of the world, to put in cafes and public places with petitions on climate change around them for people to sign in time for the Copenhagen conference; our last chance to make climate change a priority for world leaders. From 2pm to 5pm Upstairs in the Victorian Saloon.

*Please note: only good quality, clean clothing to be swapped. The swish operated through a "ration book"style voucher scheme where an item of similar item is swapped for another.A £2.50 charge applies to participate in the swap. Alterations and repairs available but subject to Mrs.Bears terms and conditions. Check web site for further information: www.mrsbears.co.uk
