Yes, the genre-bending jazz-rockers Acoustic Ladyland are back, full of sparkling dynamics and their latest work - Living With A Tiger. Tonight they are joined by ‘The Invisible’ and ‘Grasscut!’ Super! They've shaken up their line up and replaced the keyboards with the filthy, guttural punk bass style of Ruth Goller and the mutant guitar of Chris Sharkey (TrioVD) and are now ready once more to shatter those musical barriers, meld together the previously disparate worlds of jazz and punkrock in a vivid and adventurous new sound, leaving you with this most progressive of bands ringing marvellously in you ears! Wow! Support from THE INVISIBLE, whose music is a unique strain of danceable, multi-layered genre-spanning spacepop imbued with ethereal yet gutsy vocals- something alien but simultaneously completely familiar. Plus….GRASSCUT with their sweeping melody, epic building, rain, dislocation, glitched-out psych-pastoralism, beautiful beats. Fantastic!
