Cameron Carpenter & Bishi: 'Shall we?' at St Leonards Church
A night of music, mulled wine, and magic. The world's most sensational singer and sitar player meets the worlds most original organist in this his unique, one-off performance.

This unique performance sees two of the most original talents come together in musical harmony and mutual respect. Amongst work from their own albums they will also perform pieces from ancient Sanskrit through Chopin to Disney, a repertoire to delight and confound. Grammy award nominee Cameron is in London to add his mastery to Bishi's new album 'Albion Voice'. Exploring themes of British cultural and social identity, isolation and community. The sound is eclectic but coherent moving between rock, electronica, string quartet, piano and church organ. The Organ, Sitar and voice combine in wonderful resonance, reflecting the instruments' exotic personalities and the Artists' enthusiastic approach. Shoreditch Church, lit entirely by candles, provides the perfect atmosphere to savour the sounds, songs and performances - not to mention the aromatic warmth of the mulled wine! Plus, a very special guest performance from Britain's number one neo folkies The Magpies Nest.
