Former Battles frontman Tyondai Braxton is now carving himself a fresh new solo career. His latest project - Hive, is a live multimedia performance that is part architectural installation & part band.

Praised by the Washington Post as 'one of the most acclaimed experimental musicians of the last decade', American composer and former Battles front man Tyondai Braxton presents the UK premiere of his new project HIVE.

Five performers sit cross-legged atop their own space-age oval pod designed by Danish architect Uffe Surland Van Tams. The music is visceral and expressive – a combination of modular synthesizers, samples, and intricately composed acoustic percussion; each pod programmed to complete the sonic mood of the piece with ever-changing LED light emitting through its perforated wooden walls.
