Olivia Chaney has been described as a 'quintessentially English Joni Mitchell'.

Olivia studied voice and keyboard at Chetham’s and the Royal Academy of Music. She then taught herself guitar and harmonium and has since created her own sound as a song-writer. As ‘a songstress of great power and magnitude’, she is increasingly in demand. She has toured internationally both as a solo artist and lead singer/collaborator with Zero 7, Trembling Bells, The Unthanks in venues from Glastonbury to the Royal Opera House and New York’s Webster Hall.

She writes and performs for film-makers, performance artists, choreographers and bands. She has also acted and sung at Shakespeare’s Globe. She has played live sessions and recorded for BBC Radio 1, 2, 3, 6 and including WNYC & KCRW in the U.S.
