Producer turned creator of multifaceted guitar-based pop, dreamy synthesizers and lilting, deadpan vocals, Nabihah Iqbal takes the stage within London's cockney heartland, The Pickle Factory.

The past year has seen the artist, formerly known as producer Throwing Shade, take a change of direction that embraces a diverse musical education and her heritage as a British Asian musician.
Her debut LP as Nabihah, ‘Weighing of the Heart’, was released to critical acclaim on Ninja Tune in late 2017. Wandering guitar lines and dreamy synthesizers incur the heady aroma of shoegaze, whilst the boldness in her sound nods to new wave pioneers such as Joy Division and New Order. A multi-instrumentalist at heart, Nabihah has firmly embraced her record’s status as ‘guitar music,’ developing a stunning live show that we are elated to bring to Cambridge Heath.

“Nabihah Iqbal has a rare touch with inky new wave synths and drum machines, emerging as a songwriter of impressive emotional heft.” - Pitchfork

Lucinda Chua is a musician and composer whose work intersects ambient, classical and R&B. Chua is currently working on her debut solo record and a soundtrack commission for a feature-length film. She is a regular collaborator to visual artist Marianna Simnett and cellist with FKA Twigs.

Lyle is a British-Asian musician, who runs the label Morning Routine. Lyle spent 2017 performing their live set as a band in London and Sussex, as well as creating radio shows on his Radar Radio residency, as well as appearing on Nabihah's NTS show and 199 Radio.

With Lyle’s previous releases receiving positive reviews from Line Of Best Fit, Radar Radio, and Insert, Lyle continues to stand behind their unusual, linear structures and bear everything to the pop audience with a new EP, forthcoming via Morning Routine, in June. The 'Bathing' EP allows Lyle to display twisted and mouthy vocalisations, which dramatically resonate in live performance spaces.
