Moulettes crave your attendance at the launch of their second, and best, album, 'The Bear's Revenge'.

This will take place under the chandeliers and amidst the velvet plush of the Bush Hall.Due attention will also be paid to their wonderful new single, 'Sing Unto Me' Moulettes’ entrancing combination of strings and celestial harmonies; woodwind and weirdness; rhythm and devilry has lead to comparisons with Jethro Tull, Kate Bush and Shostakovich. Their charismatic, idiosyncratic brand of modern folk music incorporates elements of prog-rock, Classical and gypsy.

Ex-MouletteTed Dwane, now of Mumford & Sons has recently returned to the fold to help record the band’s second album, The Bear’s Revenge. Likewise Liz Green, long-time friend and collaborator has contributed vocals; while Seasick Steve used violinist Georgina on his latest album and live shows and cellist Hannah has just recorded with Adrian McNally from The Unthanks. Their first album was described by MOJO as – “Complex and beautiful…intriguing and unique…” While The Times reckoned that “Florence Welch would have made this sort of music if she were a bearded lady…”. They take that as a compliment.
