Born into one of the great musical dynasties of China (mother is the legendary singer Faye Wong and father Dou Wei – a leading pioneer of the mainland Chinese indie rock scene in the 90’s), Leah learnt guitar and was song writing from an from an early age.

She has already written, produced and released 2 critically acclaimed albums “Stone Café” and “Kids Only” on her own Grey Waters label. With her live band, she has performed at many major music festivals including Summersonic and Clockenflapp, headlined a sold out club tour of north America.

Playing her first ever UK show as the support for Bastille, Leah Dou takes it to the Birthday's basement for her headline show.
