Aussie noise-monger and electric guitar minimalist Ben Frost returns to London for a rare show performing music from his highly anticipated fifth studio album Aurora, his first album for Mute Records.

Joined by Greg Fox (ex-Liturgy), Shahzad Ismaily and Thor Harris (SWANS), Ben Frost performs tracks from his highly anticipated fifth studio album Aurora, which apparently aims directly, through its monolithic construction, at "blinding luminescent alchemy; not with benign heavenly beauty but through decimating magnetic force." So it's gonna be loud!

Ben Frost regularly works with other musicians and artists, producing albums such as Tim Hecker’s Ravedeath1972 and Virgins, Colin Stetson’s New History Warfare. On stage, he produces scores for choreographers, including Wayne McGregor, Akram Khan, and Chunky Move. On film, he composed the score for the Palme d ́Or nominated Sleeping Beauty by Julia Leigh, and The Deep by Baltasar Kormákur. Using mutli-media, Frost travelled deep beyond the frontlines of war torn Eastern Congo with artist Richard Mosse to produce The Enclave; a multi-channel video and sound installation that premiered at the Venice Biennale in 2013. As a director, his first opera, based on Iain Bank's infamous novel 'The Wasp Factory', premiered in 2013 and performed a sold out run at the Royal Opera House.

These various collaborations and alliances underline Frost’s continuing fascination with finding ways of juxtaposing music, rhythm, technology, the body, performance, text, art, beauty and violence, combining and coalescing the roles and procedures of various artistic disciplines in one place.
