London's 1-2-3-4 Festival returns, with new post-punk firebrands brushing up against their heroes.
After a few years off (sabbaticals? Soul searching? Gap years?), 1-2-3-4 Festival is back, adding to the ever-growing list of London city festivals. Previously based in Shoreditch, it's now moved down the road to Bromley's Three Mills Island, this year’s offering includes psychedelic long-hair music from Bo Ningen and Toy, C86 post-punk from PINS, and nostalgia trips to the recent past with The Cribs and Carl Barat and the Jackals. Plus, there’s plenty of Gang of Four- and Jesus & The Mary Chain-worshipping indie rock from host of young bands, alongside, erm, Gang of Four and Jesus & The Mary Chain.
