Thursday 13th October:
Shorts Screening @ RichMix | 3pm-5pm
A series of short fiction, documentary and expression films from our Official Selection exploring what it means to be free!

"Freedom In Film" @ Cafe 1001 | 7pm-11pm
An evening of films exploring what being free means followed by the panel discussion: "My Body, My Life? Is Sex Work a Human Right?"
Many people use their bodies as a matter of course when getting their work done. Athletes, footballers, labourers, chefs, police officers, the list goes on and on. Yet when it comes to sex work, many societies place restriction on a person’s ability to use their body to do their chosen work. Is this fair?

Friday 14th October:
"Freedom In Speech" @ The Society Club | 7pm-11pm
Join us for an evening of poetry and spoken word performances held at the charmingly intimate bookshop The Society Club in Shoreditch.
We have American-Palestinian award-winning poet Naomi Shihab highlighting the evening with a reading from her book "Tender Spot", as well as other performances from poets and spoken word artists.

Saturday 15th October

"Wealth = Freedom?" @ RichMix | 3pm - 5pm
An afternoon of films exploring what being free means followed by the panel discussion: "Does Wealth Trap You or Free You?"
Much was written earlier this year about David Cameron being trapped by his wealth when information about his offshore accounts was leaked. Is it possible that too much wealth is a bad thing? Some would say seeking wealth is a trap. How does having or not having financial resources affect you?
Shorts Screening @ Close-Up Cinema | 7pm-9pm

Sunday 16th October
Bagel Brunch Closing Party @ No 14 Bacon Street | 11am-2pm

We'll be handing out complimentary bagels until they run out.
We'll be announcing the winners of LABF Festival 2016 and awarding them their prizes.
Let's celebrate in style with music and a proper Sunday brunch party!
