A chance to see The The's innovative ‘Infected - The Movie’ music video album, with an introduction with the man himself, Matt Johnson.

Infected was The The’s second major label album, released through Some Bizzare/Epic in 1986. Musically, lyrically and visually it was far ahead of its time and offered a disturbing picture of Britain and its complex relationship with America, which still holds true today. Featuring the powerful artwork of Matt’s older brother, the late Andy ‘Dog’ Johnson, Infected was also unique in that it featured a video for each track on the album. Filmed in Peru, Bolivia, New York and the UK by four directors —primarily Tim Pope and the late Peter ‘Sleazy’ Christopherson—it quickly became one of the most acclaimed releases of the year. Many critics were stunned by the evolution from its predecessor Soul Mining as well as the sheer size and scope of the project.
