One More Time With Feeling documents the making of Skeleton Key, the latest album from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and the tragic circumstances of its creation.
A one-off cinematic event, One More Time With Feeling will be shown in 650 cinemas across the country (we’ve chosen the Ritzy), acting as a documentary accompaniment to Cave’s 16th album – and your first opportunity to hear it live.
Combining live performance and interview footage; colour and black & white; and 3D and 2D, the film is a ‘stark, fragile and raw’ account of the album’s making.
On 14 July 2015, midway into the record’s production, Cave’s teenage son died after falling from a Brighton cliff. One More Time With Feeling accounts the effect of such a harrowing backdrop on an artist’s creative process; ‘a testament to an artist trying to find his way through the darkness'.
