Based on Sur la Route des Invisibles: Femmes Dans La Rue by Claire Lajeunie, The Invisibles is a marvellous genre-bending comedy about homeless women in the economically depressed North of France.

Audrey and Manu run a day shelter for homeless women, offering them a warm shower, a hot meal and a little camaraderie. When municipal officials decide to shut it down, they have to find a way to help these invisibles… Expect social commentary, feminist anthem, broad comedy with a side of rom-com.
