To celebrate the eleven year partnership between the Whitechapel and the Film London Jarman Award, the Whitechapel will present works from the six artists shortlisted in 2019.

Tuesday 26 November - Sunday 08 December, 11:00 - 18:00.

The Film London Jarman Award recognises and supports artists working with moving image and celebrates the spirit of experimentation, imagination and innovation in the work of UK-based artist filmmakers. The Award is inspired by visionary filmmaker Derek Jarman and is presented in association with the Whitechapel Gallery. Any mid-career artist filmmaker whose work embraces the spirit and the legacy of Jarman’s highly experimental and risk-taking approach can be nominated and the Award comes with a £10,000 prize.
