This seminal documentary depicts every rise, fall and petty squabble the band had and features interviews with the Ramones plus Debbie Harry, Joe Strummer, Eddie Vedder, Linda Stein and many others.

The Ramones´ first UK gigs took place at the Roundhouse and Dingwalls in July 1976. Among the audience were members of The Damned, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Chrissie Hynde and Vic Godard. These electrifying performances would mark a turning point in the fledgling UK punk scene.

In 1974, the New York City underground music scene was shocked into consciousness by the violently new and raw sound of a band of misfits from Queens called The Ramones.

Playing in a seedy Bowery, bar the band struck a chord of disharmony that rocked the foundation of the mid-70s music scene. They travelled across the country and around the world connecting with the disenfranchised everywhere, while sparking a movement that would resonate with two generations of outcasts across the globe. Although the band never reached the top of the Billboard charts, they managed to endure by maintaining a rigorous touring schedule for twenty-two years, consistently drawing crowds of outcast kids who came to see the legendary punk band live.
