Rothbart's documentary about East London's alt-drag scene is a hilarious and moving tale of lipstick and counterculture, larger-than-life characters and the real people behind the stage personas.

Text from Andrew Simpson (East End Film Festival): A laugh-riot history of the East End drag cabaret scene, screened on a rooftop in Dalston and accompanied by special guests, music and a very special performance by the one and only Jonny Woo.

Dressed as Girl will be preceded by Drag is my Ecstasy, a short film by Joseph Wilson and is followed by live cabaret performances by starts of the film.

Not only that, but Dalston Roof Park's 'superstar resident chef' will be serving up some truly sumptuous seasonal, ethically and locally-sourced Middle Eastern BBQ and mezze from 5pm. Yum!
