A top-tier animation festival produced on the East Coast since 2004 and screening celebrated shorts and features from the around the country.

Featuring an exclusive peek at Prison Pit from comic book legend Johnny Ryan and Street Justice, animated by action cartoon master Ben Li plus Irreversible, from London based award-winning filmmaker Sarah Beeby. Shorts from top talents and a Q&A with Animation Block Party Founder Casey Safron will join in to make this an afternoon that drastically outmatches your old Saturday morning routine.

Casey Safron is the founder and creative director of Animation Block Party,  the largest animation festival on the East Coast. The first Animation Block Party festival was September 9, 2004 in Brooklyn. In addition to his festival work, Safron has also developed original cartoons for MTV, The Sundance Channel and many others. He currently lives in Brooklyn and continues to work to produce, draw and spread all forms of animation.
