The unlikely story of Glaswegian visual artist, Stephen Skrynka, and his dangerous life-long obsession with riding the ‘Wall of Death’. Stephen dreams of transforming the traditional fairground motorbike attraction into an art form. However, after underestimating the difficulties of combining his artistic vision with the commercial instincts of his collaborators, Stephen finds himself alone.

Facing a crisis of money and self-belief, salvation arrives in the shape of unexpected comradeship, anonymous donations and the kindness of strangers. Stephen and his band of volunteers build The Revelator, his very own Wall of Death. It hosts art shows, cinema screenings and fundraisers. But can he ride it?

This screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Maurice O’Brien and producer John Kelleher.
