Ballet Black is back and as stunning as ever.

The extraordinary energy, freshness and vision of Cassa Pancho's Ballet Black, a troupe of just eight dancers with a passion to highlight and celebrate the talents of black and Asian dancers from around the world, has garnered praise from all quarters, recent accolade including the Dance Europe Award for Outstanding Dance Company (2009). Having established a huge following in its inaugural decade, and enjoyed six sell-out seasons of performances in the Linbury Studio Theatre, Ballet Black has been appointed an Associate Company of the Royal Opera House. For the 2011/12 Season, its vibrant approach and distinctive repertory will once again light up the Linbury with a new programme of stimulating, innovative, inspirational – and international – dance.
