Social Convention

Dear Player, here we are with our haut insider culture picks, plus an interview with Oliver Reese, Artistic Director of Berliner Ensemble (his show 'Sarah' is at The Coronet Theatre now), and we chat to Sam Pacelli from the brilliant comedy improv troupe The Noise Next Door.

And of course we have our rollicking medley of ticket competitions. Yep, we're talking about winning tickets to London's notorious fetish club, Torture Garden's XXXMas Ball; or dash over to the Royal Albert Hall for A Christmas Gaiety, a raucous festive night with Le Gateau Chocolate, Peaches Christ and a their mischeive making pals. Aaand, we have tickets to see David Harbour like no other Santa Claus in Violent Night at the BFI IMAX. Favourite of Mine, 69! Down on your knees, 43! Jump and Jive, 35! Bingo! We also have tickets for Bow Bells Bingo at Dabbers Hackney (plus a membership thrown in for good measure)! To recieve our next bulletin full of insider culture tips, free tickets, and editorial, sign up for free here.

Our joint Guest Editors this week are Cimeon Ellerton-Kay and Natalie V Hall, co-founders of Social Convention, 'a club for the creative and curious'.

Founded in 2018, Social Convention aims to bring something different to London’s creative scene – a combination of studio support for new projects, networking possibilities to make new connections and take careers up a notch, and kick-ass parties to make it all go with a bang.

In Nat's Run Riot Interview with writer Ben Walters, they chat about their spanking new venue in Canning Town, and what artists and lovers of arts and culture can expect from this new creative venture. Spoiler alert: involves arty parties, film screenings, live immersive audiovisual albums, and all manner of projects for us all. Enjoy!

Well, dear player, engage how you can, and enjoy yourself! We'll write again soon. Bottoms up! RR x
